Children’s environmental competition

At the beginning of October, the HSE Department held a competition “Take care of nature - turn waste into art!” The competition was held among the children of employees of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP. The results of the competition were summed up on October 17, 2023. Besides the children and their parents, the event was attended by the General Director of the Partnership, Tian Aimin, and the First Deputy General Director, Sabit Rziyev.

In their welcoming speech, the directors emphasized that the environmental topic is the most relevant today, because children are the future of the planet. And the fact that children themselves realize that the planet’s future depends on them becomes important.

The children outlined the theme of the competition in detail in their drawings and crafts. By submitting their works to the competition, the children described what needs to be done to make the world cleaner and more beautiful.

18 children from 7 to 17 years old took part in the competition, and all participants became winners. At the event, a video was shown for children about the need to sort garbage for its suitability for recycling or reuse and a presentation of an interactive workshop on industrial safety.

With the support of the Local Trade Union of the Partnership employees, the little winners were awarded memorable prizes - gift certificates and sweets.
