Celebration of the Day of Oil and Gas Complex Employees

On the first Sunday of September, Kazakhstan celebrates a professional holiday - the Day of Oil and Gas Complex Employees. It traces its history back to Soviet times and in independent Kazakhstan it was officially approved as a professional holiday in 2003 by decree of the President of Republic.


Oil and gas industry is one of the leading sectors of economy of Kazakhstan. It provides a significant portion of country's total tax revenues as well as export earnings and is the sector of interest for most foreign direct investment.


Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, in his annual Address to the people of Kazakhstan, instructed to ensure further development of the industry and pay special attention to attracting investment in the industry. To fulfill this assignment, industry employees have the necessary knowledge, experience, qualifications and competencies. There is still a lot of work to be done on the way to implementation of the goals set by the Head of State for further development of oil and gas industry.


In this regard, employees of the Partnership were congratulated on their professional holiday by the General Director Tian Aimin, and the First Deputy General Director Sabit Rziyev.


In his congratulatory speech, Sabit Rziyev noted that “our company, which, having existed since 2004, transports oil to Republic of China and also supplies it to domestic market of Republic of Kazakhstan, plays a big role.


Since commissioning of oil pipelines, through the efforts of employees of the Partnership, about 250 million tons have been transported through oil pipelines. This figure inspires respect for direct participants, and general everyday work.


In honor of the Day of Oil and Gas Complex Employees of Republic of Kazakhstan, a solemn ceremony of awarding employees of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP was held, at which the following were presented for the award:


- Yerlan Kuandykovich Slyambaev, shift engineer of ERC Aralsk production section, Certificate of Merit of Samruk-Kazyna JSC;


- Akmagambetov Timur Akmagambetovich, oil metering engineer of CTP Atasu, Certificate of Honor of NC KazMunaiGas JSC;


- Makhrov Sergey Vladimirovich, Chief Manager of Finance Department and Chief Manager for transportation of transportation department Iskenderov Sabir Saftar Ogly, with Certificate of Honor of KazTransOil JSC;


- Chen Kai, Executive Director for Operation, Shengelbayeva Lira Zhumabaevna, Manager of operation and reliability sector of operation department, with Letter of Appreciation from KazTransOil JSC.


10 employees of the Partnership were awarded with a Certificate of Honor from Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP and another 10 people were presented for awarding with a Letter of Appreciation from Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP. 2 employees were awarded with a Certificate of Honor and a Letter of Appreciation from Samruk Business Academy PI.


The leaders of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP thanked their colleagues for their good work and wished them new successes and achievements.
