Best in basketball!

On July 6 in Astana a sports competition was held between KazTransOil and its subsidiaries and jointly-controlled organizations dedicated to the 25th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Capital City Day.

The competition was held under the slogan “Health of the nation – a basis of our successful future”. The teams representing the Western and Eastern branches of KazTransOil, the central office, the Main data processing center and the Scientific-technical center, Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP, were competing in ten sport disciplines: mini-football, volleyball, basketball, chess, checks, togyz-kumalak, track and relay race, ping-pong and billiard.

Employees of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP participated in mini-football, basketball, chess, ping-pong, track and field and billiard.

For three days the teams were competing for the top place in every discipline. The team of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP took the 3^rd place in women’s track (А. Tuzelbayeva), 3^rd place in mini-football, 3^rd place in men’s chess (S. Makhrov), 3^rd place in ping-pong (Т. Yerimbetov). We want to emphasize the 1^st place in basketball. Our team demonstrated high class, team work and fine play. The basketball cup was handed to the team captain, General Director Alen Tanatarov.
