Yerkin Kulsartov, Director of the Procurement Department of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline, has earned the right to compete in the IRONMAN World Championship, one of the most prestigious long-distance triathlon competitions.

On July 12, 2026, Yerkin Kulsartov competed in the IRONMAN Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain) international race, earning a qualifying spot for the IRONMAN World Championship Kona 2026.

The World Championship will take place on October 10, 2026, in Kailua-Kona (Hawaii, USA) — a legendary destination for triathletes worldwide. This is the main start of the world's long-distance triathlon, where the strongest athletes compete, who successfully qualified for official IRONMAN races.

At the championship, participants will have to cover a legendary distance: 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling, and 42.2 km of marathon running.
