Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP arranged festive events

On 24 April 2015 at the AIST recreation zone Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP has conducted festive events devoted to celebration of Nauryz Meyramy and 20th anniversary of Assembly of Nations of Kazakhstan, as well as honouring of Great Patriotic War veterans and labour front participants in connection with 70th anniversary of the Victory.

The program of the festive events was very rich and included honouring of employees celebrating a jubilee, and retirement party, and various contests.

Thus, in the talent show devoted to Nauryz Meyramy and 20th anniversary of the Assembly of Nations of Kazakhstan, employees of the company and their family members took part. The purpose of the show was to show national ceremonies, such as “Toy Dastarkhan – Nauryz Kozhe”, “Kelin Tussiru”, “Tussau Kessu”, etc.

Considering that representatives of 14 nations work in the international team of the company, Chinese specialists – employees of the company took an active part in the talent show with their specific program. Besides, Russian ditties, Ukrainian, Tatar and Uygur songs sounded at the show, as well as the groovy Caucasian Lezghinka, and Kazakh dances Kamazhai, Akku, etc.

Winners of the show were awarded valuable gifts.

In the contest of children’s arts and crafts on the subject: “Nauryz through the Eyes of Children” and “Friendship of Nations of Kazakhstan” more than 40 children of company employees took part. They told in their works about the bright and beautiful Nauryz Meyramy holiday, and that people of more than 130 nationalities live in peace and quiet in Kazakhstan.

The judges of the contest finalized results of the contest and awarded winners.

A special place in the program of the festival the honouring of the Great Patriotic War veterans and labour front participants due to 70th anniversary of the Victory took. Mr. D. Dossanov, General Director of the company, and Mr. Guo Yi, Frist Deputy General Director, congratulated guests of honour.

Songs of years of the war, such as “Katyusha”, “Dorozhka frontovaya”, and “Zemlyanka” were performed for veterans, and the youngest talent show participant, 5 years old Airis Seissekenova, recited “Victory Day” poem.

A formal dinner was given in honour of the Great Patriotic War veterans. Each veteran received flowers and gifts, as well as material assistance.

Besides, during the festival the certificate for 3.5 million tenge was handed over to Almaty City Council of Veterans for rendering of charitable assistance to 70 participants of the Great Patriotic War and the certificate for 1.5 million tenge was given to the Council of Veterans of Zhetysu District of Almaty City for making of an exhibition stand devoted to 70th anniversary of the Victory.

The festival ended with the party, children entertainment and horse riding.

Dear Colleagues and Guests of the Festival!

Nauryz brings people together at the dastarkhan, its traditions are aimed at the disclosure of the best human qualities – openness, warmth, compassion and mercy, as well as spiritual renewal.

During the holiday people balance their achievements and plan for the future.

This year Nauryz has coincided with the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of Nations of Kazakhstan, which, as the Doctrine of National Unity stated, was established on the basis of aspiration to equal opportunities and decent living conditions for all citizens of our country.

Today, thanks to the efforts of the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, his focused and balanced policy in the sphere of international relations, more than 130 nationalities live in peace and quiet in our country considering Kazakhstan their native land.

We are particularly pleased that our colleagues – Chinese partners, are not just present at the festival, but take an active part in it; shoulder to shoulder with them we implement strategic plans, thereby contributing to the development of our countries.

Please accept my heartiest congratulations on the occasion of the state holiday Nauryz Meyramy and the anniversary of the Assembly of Nations of Kazakhstan!

May Nauryz bring you happiness, health and prosperity!

At the honouring of the

Great Patriotic War veterans

and homefront workers

due to 70th anniversary of the Victory

Dear Veterans!!!

70 years have passed since Great Patriotic War cannonades subsided, but the war will remain forever in the memory of people and in our hearts.

The whole country had risen to the defence of the Homeland. It is difficult to find a family that was not touched by flames of war.

It is impossible to overestimate the importance of the Victory over fascist invaders got at the cost of many millions of human lives, the Victory that has changed the course of human history.

At the cost of great tension and hardship Kazakhstan helped to ensure the victory of Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

From the first day of the war Kazakhstan has become one of the arsenals of the front. Karaganda coal miners brought to grass coal, enterprises of Ural-Emba oil-producing areas provided the front with liquid fuel; 460 plants, factories, mines and individual productions have been stationed and built in Kazakhstan during the war. Kazakhstan supplied the front with mines and missiles, torpedoes and bombs, flamethrowers, radio stations and other types of weapons and military equipment. More than 14 thousand cars and trucks, 1.5 thousand crawler tractors, more than 110 thousand horses have been sent to the front.

“Everything for the front, everything for victory!” – was the motto of rural workers, who have given to the front thousand tons of bread and meat, as well as raw materials for production.

More than 1 million 200 thousand Kazakhstan citizens have been draft into the Soviet Army, more than 20 rifle divisions and other units have been organized.

Hundreds of thousands of our fellow countrymen were awarded with medals and orders for military merit, about 500 people became Heroes of the Soviet Union, among them two women – Aliya Moldagulova and Manshuk Mametova. Four Kazakhstanis were endowed with the title of double heroes - Talgat Begeldinov, Sergei Lugansky, Ivan Pavlov and Leonid Beda. Heroic act of the Panfilov Division's Twenty-Eight Guardsmen on the Moscow’s fringes was absolute.

Our fellow countryman, an outstanding military leader – Bauyrzhan Momyshuly – has been awarded the Star of Hero already after the war.

A Kazakhstani citizen, R. Koshkarbayev, has hoisted the Banner of Victory on the Reichstag in defeated Berlin.

Thousands of our compatriots have sacrificed their lives and covered themselves with glory just outside Kursk and Stalingrad, in the battles of Moscow, for the liberation of Ukraine, Belarus, Baltic countries, Moldova and the countries of Europe.

Millions of evacuated specialists, their family members, as well as refugees have found shelter in Kazakh families, in the Kazakhstan land.

However hard some historians are trying to rewrite the history of the war, the great Victory showed the whole world the clearest example of indomitable fortitude and self-sacrifice of the Soviet people, and demonstrated the superiority of Soviet military art over the Wehrmacht.

Hats off to you, dear Veterans, for your invaluable contribution to Victory, for your strength and courage at battlefields and in the rear!

You have won us freedom and taught us to believe in ourselves, to faithfully fulfill the military and civic duty, and love our country!

And today we must be worthy of your heroic act and do all efforts for our country to be strong and independent, and life of future generations to be peaceful and happy.

With all my heart I congratulate you on the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory! I sincerely wish you happiness, prosperity, peaceful skies and many years of life.
