Meeting on health, labor, and environmental protection in Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP based on results of 2023



On February 28, 2024, a meeting was held with contractors on issues of health, labor, and environmental protection in Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP, at which the work results for 12 months of 2023 were summed up.
The event was attended by the management of the Partnership, as well as concerned heads o structural units, representatives of contractors, shift engineers of production sites and employees of the Branch in Alashankou, China (via conference call). The meeting was chaired by Genera Director Tian Aimin and First Deputy General Director S. Rziyev.
During the meeting, reports were heard from director of HSE&ES Department M. Gusmanov or the topic "Transport Safety", representatives of contractors on health and safety issues at the Partnership's facilities for 12 months of 2023. Contracting organizations voiced their proposal: and activities on HSE issues that need to be implemented this year.
The next part included reports from director of HSE&ES Department M. Gusmanov "Report on activities of the Partnership on HSE issues in 2023", deputy director of HSE&ES Department A Akhmetova "Implementation of corrective action plans based on audit results" on functioning o HSE management system in the Partnership by an audit group in the field of HSE from the Participant (SPI) in 2023, on state of fire safety of the Partnership's office and transport safety o vehicles of the Partnership and AR LINE SERVICE LLP.
At the meeting, problematic issues related to activities in the field of labor protection and environment, industrial safety were also discussed.
In the final speech, the leaders of the Partnership summed up results of the meeting and emphasized that safety is, first of all, personal responsibility of each employee. Instructions were also given to HSE&ES department regarding improving work in the field of employee safety in the office, so that each department understood its responsibility in the field of HSE. Issues regarding implementation of approved measures to implement the Vision Zero concept and dual response mechanism were discussed.17:25
